SD-M published the first global SD-KPI Standards for financially material ESG KPIs in 2010 and 2016. They show a high degree of overlap with the SASB Standards, which are now maintained by the ISSB and support the application of IFRS S1.
The SD-KPInform Database has provided monthly ESG assessments since 2009 and today covers more than 15,000 companies worldwide. It delivers long-term, sector-specific and financially material ESG time series for asset managers, asset owners and banks.
The integration of SD-KPIs into equity and corporate bond indices has led to long-term financial outperformance compared with conventional benchmark indices.
